Continuing on with the days! Hope you’re having a great Monday!

31/365 – 3.30.21

Master

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Fresno, CA

Master lock and key on the backyard gate. I liked the colors and definition on this shot, but also – I’ve been watching Doctor Who and the character of Master made me look at this lock differently. This is one of those photos that I had in the back of my mind for a day when I wouldn’t have that much time to take a photo. But I still like it!

32/365 – 3.31.21

Brick and Mortar

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Downtown Fresno

Green bush climbing the side of a brick building. Feel like this shot could have been edited better. It was a super sunny day, so the whites were super white and the darks super dark.

33/365 – 4.1.21

Six Feet Under

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Fresno, CA

Gravestones with massive Motel 6 sign showing directly behind the cemetery. It was wild to find this cemetery directly next to a normal business area of Fresno. I feel like I could have composed this shot a bit better, but I stayed in my car to keep from bothering people in the area.

34/365 – 4.2.21

RBF

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Fresno, CA

Selfie of me. Directly after my first legit therapy session. Oof. There is anger in the eyes.

35/365 – 4.3.21

Pick-a-Nick

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Woodward Park, Fresno, CA

My husband lounging on a blanket, reading with a picnic basket by his head. Took a day at Woodward Park and read for hours. Amazing to be outside and out of the house. It was a refreshing day for both of us.

36/365 – 4.4.21

The White Snitch

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; my backyard

Macro shot of the flowering bush in our backyard. I had planned to get photos for an event that ended up getting canceled, so a backyard search as the sun went down was in order. I feel like this looks like the golden snitch from Harry Potter in flower form.

37/365 – 4.5.21

Breathe

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; my office

Black and white of my legs and feet on a yoga mat. Stemming off depression with 15 minutes of yoga.

38/365 – 4.6.21

The Bluffs

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; The Bluffs, Fresno, CA

Women walking dog with curved lines and interesting texture. Timmy and I went for a drive to North Fresno to check out the backside of the Bluffs. I think this looks like some other world’s terrain.

39/365 – 4.7.21

Bzzz

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Upside Down Umbrella Park, Downtown Fresno, CA

Bee flying around flower with pollen on his legs. I shot this with my new macro lens!

40/365 – 4.8.21

Graffiti

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Downtown Fresno, CA

Black and white photo of Downtown Fresno alley with graffiti on the walls. Super fun trip with Timmy to take photos of graffiti alleys. I love this type of artwork, and happy that there is a section of legal graffiti in this area.

  1. Wow! These are all so good! Can’t even tell you my favorite! The one of your face after your first counseling makes me so sad. The one with the bee and the flower make me wonder if I could watercolor that! The lady walking her dog on the bluffs is so interesting! Really love it! And the one in the graveyard made me think, “I wonder if Megan would like to go with me into that old graveyard (I think it’s by the zoo) and just look at gravestones?” Great pics Punk!
