And here we go with the next ten days of my 365 photo-a-day challenge. It’s definitely a mixed bag this week! Hope whoever finds this little website is having a great Monday.

Birthday Shenanigans
Shot with iPhone 11 Pro; edited in camera app; Fresno, CA
It was my buddy’s birthday and we celebrated way into the night! Koko had jewels on her face from her niece’s birthday party, and my red lipstick lasted all night! Pretty proud of that. ha! I love these yahoos.

Snake
Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Rotary Skate Park, Clovis, CA
If you’re a skater, you can probably identify with this look. We’ve all been there. You are getting ready to do a run, and a scooter kid comes out of nowhere and snakes your line. Agghhh!!! Not all scooter kids are bad, but in my experience – they tend to be the ones that get in the way more often than not. 😛 This is Michelle (@mikiskates76) waiting for her skate line to clear again.

MachineHead
Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; MachineHead Brewing, Clovis, CA
My friends and I roller skated down the Clovis Trail to MachineHead Brewing Co., and had lunch and a beer before roller skating back to our start off point. This new brewery has such a clean aesthetic that I immediately fell in love with, and super good beer. Plus they didn’t mind us roller skating around the place. yay!

New Growth
Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Fresno, CA
New growth on the lower trunk of a tree. I love the texture and colors of this photo, and the light bouncing off the leaves.
45/365 – 4.13.21
Six Years
Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Hanford, CA
My now empty locker from work after six years in the ICU. Haven’t quit, but changed to per diem and then went on leave of absence. Figured I give my good locker location to someone who is actually putting in the hours. This was a rough day…seeing the unit for the first time after I walked away from nursing in early February to work on my mental health. It’s been a helluva year.
46/365 – 4.14.21
Where Everybody Knows Your Name
Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Livingstone’s, Fresno, CA
Shot of my husband’s hand out on the patio at one of our favorite restuarant/bars. This was a first time going out to a bar since quarantine. It was a super fun day and nice to see familiar faces and friends we haven’t seen in over a year.
47/365 – 4.15.21
Red Converse
Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Fresno, CA
Timmy with his new red converse shoes, changing out the white shoe laces for light blue ones. This guy is so funny! He’s got so many thoughts on so many things. Including – white laces not being acceptable. haha! Love that I caught this moment of him laughing.
48/365 – 4.16.21
Inverted Umbrella Park
Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Downtown Fresno, CA
Black and white shot of the weird inverted umbrellas at the Downtown Fresno Park. I can never remember the name of this place! But the inverted umbrellas light up at night, and it’s got a sweet spot to practice roller skating in.
49/365 – 4.17.21
Tower Porchfest
Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Tower District, Fresno, CA
This was a sad day in Tower for me. I was so excited for this day and the ability to have some socially distant interactions. But alas…huge groups of people not wearing masks and hanging close to each other made it impossible to enjoy. Except this early morning one. Irish music being beautifully played one street over from my home!
50/365 – 4.18.21
Heart
Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Fresno, CA
A yellow leaf in the shape of a heart. My husband and I took a relaxing day off and I decided to keep it simple with my photo too.
My favorite was Timmy changing his shoelaces but loved them all!
