Here’s another ten days of my photo-a-day challenge! Hope you enjoy my progress as an amateur photographer. Happy Monday!

50/365 – 4.18.21

Heart

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Fresno, CA

A yellow leaf in the shape of a heart. My husband and I took a relaxing day off, and I decided to keep it simple with my photo too.

Please Don’t Die On Me

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Fresno, CA

Newly planted basil in a bucket that might not be accurate for watering. :-p (Since I’m posting this weeks later, the update is that it grew very well and we have an abundance of basil!)

The Process of Healing

Shot with iPhone 11 Pro; edited in camera app; Fresno, CA

Getting acupuncture by Dr. Ashley for my knee that has been wonky for awhile. Getting old sucks, but I’m thankful for those mode of healing.

53/365 – 4.21.21

Reflection

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Melody Park, Fresno, CA

Reflection of myself in my aviator sunglasses taking a photo. Didn’t try to hard today. Matter of fact, I was just testing out a lens when I did this. But I’m not mad at it.

54.365 – 4.22.21

Vinyl Cat

Shot with iPhone 11 Pro; edited in camera app; Fresno, CA

Dria sitting on a shelf in my vinyl collection. I spent three full days organizing over 400 albums. It was quite the job, but was fun getting to see all the records and catalogue them electronically so that I always know what I have. Till I buy some more. 🙂

55.365 – 4.23.21

D Zed Stroke O 1 5

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Fresno, CA

Black and white of the hallway to my husband’s office, with his favorite movie “Brazil” quote on the door.

56.365 – 4.24.21

Circle of Life

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Fresno, CA

Black and white of construction tubular cement rings with weeds growing between them. I particularly like this shot, but editing out a power line was super hard.

57/365 – 4.25.21

Happy Birthday Mom!!

Shot with iPhone 11 Pro; edited in camera app; Kingsburg, CA

My husband and I had lunch over at my parents house for my Mom’s birthday. This is a shot of her opening our gift (a light for her new arts table) and her amazing smile.

58/365 – 4.26.21

After the Rain

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; somewhere on the 99 N of Fresno

Black and white of Oakhurst hills with rain clouds passing through. Mom and I went up to Mariposa for her birthday, and I caught this out of the car window. It seems flat in a weird way. Can’t quite put my finger on what’s wrong with it. But something seems off with the contrast.

59/365 – 4.27.21

Sunset Over Union Pacific Train Co.

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Fresno, CA

Pretty self explanatory. Burnt orange clouds highlighted over still trains with graffiti. Extremely hard to take this photo, and it still isn’t great. I’m still learning how to expose for both sunset AND what is in the dark because the sun is setting. If I could do it over again, I’d set up a tripod and took two shots and superimpose them onto each other. But…that’s still something I’m learning. haha!

60/365 – 4.28.21

Looking Up

Shot with Canon Rebel T2i; edited in photoshop/lightroom; Fresno, CA

Black and white of a self reflection of me taking the photo in a puddle of water after gardening all day. Trees and bushes above me fade at the bottom and top where the puddle is evaporating.
